Flu vaccine

When the 1199SEIU National Benefit Funds wanted to convince health care workers throughout New York City to get their flu shots, they turned to PIMG. We developed messages and ads to achieve their goals and tested them in focus groups at various New York hospitals. Our research showed that you must keep it simple, calm fears, and provide an easy way for people to be vaccinated.

Healthy eating

Childhood obesity has been skyrocketing. As a result, so have heart disease and diabetes. PIMG worked with Lake Research Partners on ground-breaking research to identify the best strategies and messages to prevent childhood obesity. Our research showed that the best place to start is at home. We created Eat Smart, Grow Strong to encourage families and children to eat better for a long, healthy and active life.

Organ donation

New York State is one of the lowest in the nation in terms of the number of people who have signed up to become organ donors. The New York Organ Donor Network asked PIMG to help figure out why. We conducted research among other states that found New York facing more barriers – a complicated sign-up system and few state funds being allocated among them. PIMG also developed simple, positive messages and ads to promote donation and tested them on the streets of Brooklyn, Queens, and Upper Manhattan.
